If a seller is looking for help, they should be able to easily find your customer support.
The support page link takes sellers to your website where they can get in touch with you. This might be a resource or FAQ page, a knowledge base, or simply a contact form. It appears in two places:
- The Information section of your listing.
- The My Applications page on the Square Dashboard within your app’s details.
If you want to track support page visits from Square sellers, you can add a UTM URL parameter as shown in the following example:
https://example.com/contact-support?utm_source=square
You don't need to provide a support email address. This is the email address that sellers can use to connect with your customer support team using email.
You don't need to provide a support phone number.
- Dedicated support line is available - Provide a support phone number if you have a dedicated support line for your app.
- Automated help menu is available - Don't provide a phone number if the number only reaches a menu that includes an extension for support among other extensions.
