I have been using the Web UI Sandbox Dashboard for over a year now to test creating and doing cash payments on Orders in order to fire off test webhooks (Payment.completed).
I am needing to create different environments in different square accounts and I would really love to be able to fire off test orders from the sandbox dashboard but I just can’t wrap my head around how this Create Order button is enabled.
I thought it was because I had multiple Sandbox Test Dashboards and only the Default Dashboard was able to create orders. But then I created a new square account and could not for the life of me get it enabled.
An old square account has the same single application and single default sandbox test dashboard and it has the Create Order button.
What is the specific setting that is enabling this Create Order button to be available for testing in sandbox? I have seen AI responses to this is forum saying to use the API for creating orders. I don’t want to have to do this always.
