Difference in "ASAP" Order Display Between Sandbox and Production in Square Dashboard

Hi Square Team,

I have a question regarding the display behavior of orders created via API with "schedule_type": "ASAP":

  • When I create an order with "schedule_type": "ASAP" in Square Sandbox via the API, the order appears under the “Schedule” tab in the Square Dashboard order list.
    **Order ID: tuspVsWk8AGGtDBjabbtzMVV9LBZY **


  • However, when I create an order with the same "schedule_type": "ASAP" in Square Production, the order does not appear under the “Schedule” tab.

Could you please help clarify:

  1. Why is there a difference in behavior between Sandbox and Production environments?
  2. Is this an expected behavior, or is there a configuration we need to adjust to align Sandbox and Production behavior?
  3. Is there any official documentation explaining how "schedule_type": "ASAP" orders are displayed across different Dashboard tabs?
