Possibility to add custom fields on catalog items

As a purchasing manager, I want to be able to add custom fields to the catalog items, such as “MSRP”, “List price”, and other business information fields.

As a content manager, I want to be able to add custom fields to the catalog items, such as “Related products”, “Replacement products”, “notes” and other content and relation fields.

As a developer, I want to be able to fetch this information from the integration API in order to display it in custom reports.

As a developer, I want to be able to fetch this information from the integration API in order to display it to customer on custom eCommerce website and/or mobile application.

+1 to @mniaey’s comment. For long-form docs take a look here: https://developer.squareup.com/docs/catalog-api/add-custom-attributes, but custom attributes do exist on catalog objects already.
