We’re building a product that integrates with Square via OAuth to work with small businesses.
Last Friday(5 June) I submitted a partnership request to Square support and was told I’d hear back within 72 hours. I haven’t received any response yet. I also noticed in the Square community Discord that Square isn’t currently offering partnerships.
I have two questions:
- Is it currently possible to establish a partnership with Square?
- If we don’t have a partnership, are there any limitations on integrating with small businesses that use Square?

We’re not broadly taking on new formal partnerships at this time. That said, Square’s APIs are open and self-serve, so a formal partnership shouldn’t block you from building, launching, or working with Square sellers who authorize your app.
