Getting 100% of Generic Decline on mexican payments

Hello,
I’m connecting Square through the official WooCommerce plugin. Part of my business involves making sales in Mexico, but charging in US dollars (USD). Yesterday, I successfully processed a charge using a Mexican card (specifically from BBVA). The charge was approximately 90 USD. However, today, when attempting real transactions (our larger product packages cost around 600–700 USD), all attempts have resulted in the following error:

Square Payment Failed (Status code GENERIC_DECLINE: Authorization error: ‘GENERIC_DECLINE’)

We were in direct contact with one of the customers, who spoke with their bank at the moment. The bank stated that there are no blocks, no operational limits, and that the payment should go through without issues. They suggested that the problem is likely with the payment processor.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can resolve this?
