Currently I have a wordpress site using woocommerce.
I have it synced with my square inventory and online orders placed work fine. We only offer local pickup.
I purchased a plugin called Automator that allows me to generate a Slack message to the team everytime someone places an order online.
I’d also like to have one of our store printers automatically print a receipt everytime someone orders from the website.
I created a printer profile to “Automatically print online orders” but this doesn’t work. Im assuming because its not on the “Square Website” version of our store.
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this and just dont understand how to create an IFTTT webhook from the site. These are the options I have through automator.
Can someone help point me in the right direction?

Is the WooCommerce integration including a fulfillment
on the order? If there is a fulfillment
the orders are able to be configured to print.
Sorry Im not totally sure I understand.
Would that appear on the Square order details?
This is what it looks like in square when an order is placed on the site
When you click on the order in the Dashboard can you copy and paste the URL here so I can find the order?
When I click the order on my square transaction history it just opens up a side panel with the details of the order. It doesn’t take me to a dedicated page where I can copy a URL.
When you click on the transaction yes it will just pop out a blade. At that point can you copy the URL? That will have the IDs that I need to see the order.
Great, thank you. Okay, this order doesn’t have a fulfillment
which is why it didn’t print. The WooCommerce integration didn’t include an order fulfillment. This is something that is configured in there integration I believe.
Looks like “Fulfilment” is an additional feature I have to pay for lol
Shocking!!
Thanks for the help!
You mean through WooCommerce right? Fulfillments are free with Square.
