I’m trying to verify Apple Pay on my clients site who are using yourselves.
I’ve uploaded the file to the .well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association folder and it cannot retrieve the verification file from the domain.
Please can you advise how this can be resolved quickly as my client needs this enabled ASAP.
If it’s not verified that means that Apple can’t see the certificate. If you navigate to
https://YOUR_DOMAIN.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association does it trigger a download of the certificate?
I’m confused here as I’ve downloaded the file from your site and uploaded to where you need to be.
I’ve spoken to my server guys and they said it was given a 403 error on the server that they had that blocked as a malicious bot but have now disabled it and it is still not picking up the file that is on the server…I’m not a developer, I’m a designer so I do not know the ins & outs of all this and I’ve followed the instructions provided and still nothing.
I’ve gone to the address link as you advised and it just shows me lots of numbers.
Sorry this is really stressful for me so I may seem a bit short.
What’s the domain? If its downloading when you navigate to the domain it should verify. If its just showing and didn’t trigger a download then the file isn’t uploaded to the domain association folder. If you’re using the server provided by the Quickstart application, put the
.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association folder and file under the
public directory. The domain verification file works only with Square as the domain.
I’ve downloaded your file and put it where instructed by your instruction guide.
The domain is https://ebonygarwood.com
That site looks to be using the WooCommerce integration. Is that right? If so you’ll need to reach out to WooCommerce since the verification is something they do with the integration.
Hi thanks for this.
Can I just ask then as it is a WooCommerce integration that maybe you highlight this in the guide as this isn’t clear and doesn’t specify that.
In my mind I came to the payment merchant.
I’ll do a support with woo tomorrow. Just could’ve done that sooner if it was in your documentation rather than come to you
