"This account has not been enabled to take payments"


We’re getting this error for a single client using our service. We’ve had our Square integration for about a year and this client has been using it about that long. It only happens with one of their locations.

The account/location work outside our integration.

What do I need to provide to get help?


Do you have the location_id? I can take a look to see if there’s anything blocking it on our side.

Yes, the location id is “TS8W9Q63VP28W”


One other note: I just spoke with the partner and they no longer thing the location is working from the Square Web Terminal. Maybe this is a more general issue with their account? I’ve recommended they reach out to support as well, but would still appreciate any available insight.


It does look like it was a general support issue, but I think it has been resolved. Let me know if the issue is still occurring of course.
