I am working on an app that integrates with the Terminal API, it works great with Square Terminals (obviously). I wanted to know if there was a way that anyone knew if it was possible to pair a square register with a pairing code to send transaction/payment requests directly to a Square Register versus a Square Terminal. I know I can successfully pair my iOS app with the Square Register, but it doesn’t seem to allow calls to certain endpoints.
I don’t believe there is since the Square Register’s are more of a standalone POS system whereas the Terminals are designed to be a bit more flexible.
