Square Terminal API Integration - Testing and DevKits

Hi! We’re in the process of integrating Square Terminal API (Terminal API Overview) with our systems. To test our integration, we tried to get a Square Terminal device (Square Terminal Credit Card Machine | Square Shop) but we were declined and for the reason via a call Square Support mentioned we were violating T&C. We even successfully ordered a Square Reader Gen 2 (NFC Reader | Square Contactless & Chip Card Reader) device a couple of weeks ago without a hitch but this Terminal Device order was cancelled.

We cannot proceed with our development without the device as the integration has many moving parts, starting from pairing, invoking payments and processing webhooks.

How can we get a test device for ourselves to test the integration?
