Open Ticket Functionality

Good afternoon! Can I get an update on the Orders API open ticket rollout? I’ve implemented the API changes in my app and can get open ticket info for some customers, but one of my new customers says it’s not working. It’s the same code, so I’m wondering if the rollout is still happening, or are there cases where the data wouldn’t come through the same way for one merchant as another?

@Bryan-Square Can you help?

Hey @jdevelvis! The Orders migration is still in progress. Depending on the first party product being used, there are different flows that may result in unpaid orders being surfaced in Order Manager, but this isn’t functionality that I would recommend building your application around yet.

Thanks @josh-square - any ETA on completion time? Or some way to know if a merchant has been converted? It’s tough to troubleshoot the feature in my app if I don’t know which merchants should or should not have open tickets show via the API

Unfortunately, there isn’t any public timeline for this migration. Also knowing what sellers are on this isn’t currently available at this time. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team. :slight_smile:
