Open Orders/Tabs Tracking in API

Does anyone have an update as to tracking quantities sold and orders in open tabs/tickets? This has been a much requested feature over the past 2 years, but I haven’t seen any mention of this feature request since.

We work with about 20 other POS systems, and all of them have this feature.
It’s a necessary aspect of many apps and 3rd party products. Thank you

Open Orders/Tabs API

Our App and custom Software will not work until we can actively track Open Tickets (open orders/tabs). I’ve been asking for this feature for two years, and I’ve been told for two years that it’s on the developer roadmap. Does anyone have an idea when Open Order tracking will be added to the Square API? Thank you

API Return all orders that are OPEN and PAID for

Via the API, I want to get all OPEN (e.g. orders->status == “OPEN”) with successful tenders (e.g. paid for, i.e. order->tenders[0]->card_details->status == “CAPTURED”). This should be equal to the POS display of all “active/upcoming” orders. My earlier question: Possible duplicate::
