Is the Bookings API still actively being developed?

It looks like the last Bookings API update in the Square API changelog was September 2024, almost two years ago.

There are still significant gaps between Square Appointments and the public Bookings API, including customer confirmations, personal events, schedule changes, recurring appointments, and other data that Square’s own Dashboard has access to.

Is the Bookings API still under active development?

Are there plans to bring more of the Square Appointments functionality to the public API?

It would be great to understand the future direction of the Bookings API before building more integrations around it.

@oko - We are continuing development on the Bookings API and welcome feedback to pass to the product team. I see that you also filed some product feedback, which the team will take into consideration as we plan out updates to the API.
