Feature Request: API Access for Personal Events in Square Appointments

Square Appointments already supports Personal Events in the Dashboard and apps, but this functionality is not currently exposed through the public Bookings API.

It would be very useful to add API support to:

  • Get personal events

  • Create, update, and delete personal events

  • Receive webhooks when they change

Our use case is a two-way calendar integration. When an employee creates a personal event in our internal calendar, we want that event to automatically be created in Square and block their availability. Likewise, if they create or update a Personal Event directly in Square, we want that event to appear in our system as well.

Since Personal Events are already part of the Square calendar, exposing them through the API would make it possible to keep external scheduling systems fully synchronized with Square.

Thanks for explaining the two-way calendar use case. The public Bookings API currently supports bookings and booking webhooks, but does not expose Personal Events or webhooks.
