Does order_line_item changes, updates the updated_at value of parent order?

We are using POST /v2/orders/search - Square API Reference, api to fetch orders and using the updated_at filter to fetch data incrementally.
But one observation, if the order_line_item or any other child of order gets updated, will the updated_at of order will get updated? Is there any scenario in which the updated_at for parent will not change even if the child data is updated?

Changes to an order’s line items don’t update the parent order’s version or updated_at fields. The order’s version or updated_at fields will only change when the order data itself is changed, such as when a payment is made against that order, or if a fulfillment status is updated.
