Despite disconnecting our Square account from Google (in location settings), deleting the associated product data feed in GMC, and removing the Local Inventory for the Google app, there still seems to be some kind of connection between our GBP & Square. I can’t tell where or what the connection is, but it’s causing problems with our GMC Next account. We originally signed up with Google Merchant Center through the Pointy integration. We are now trying to set up our Google Merchant Center Next account, but we are unable to delete the classic GMC account because it’s a sub-account. It seems that the classic GMC account is connected to our Google Business Profile, and without getting rid of it, we can’t use our products for local inventory ads because you can’t have multiple GMC accounts for the same location. I don’t want our items synced with Square directly in the GMC Next account. I’ve contacted Square through chat and email, but the folks I’ve talked to don’t seem to know what I’m talking about. I also submitted this question in the seller community forum, but if anyone else has experienced this and has a solution, it would be helpful! Thank you!

It seems like you’ve already taken the necessary steps to disconnect your Square account from Google Merchant Center. However, since you’re still experiencing issues, it might be due to some residual data or connections that haven’t been fully cleared.
Unfortunately, as a developer experience assistant, I don’t have the ability to directly access or modify your account settings. I would recommend reaching out to Google Merchant Center Support for further assistance, as they would have the necessary tools and access to help resolve this issue.
Also, ensure that you’ve followed all the necessary steps to disconnect your Square account from Google Merchant Center and that there are no remaining connections in your Google Business Profile settings.
Remember, changes might take some time to fully propagate through the system, so it might be worth waiting a bit and then checking again to see if the issue has been resolved.
