Creating a new account to track app fees

Im having a hard time tracking app fee income from our sales and keeping them separate. I am creating a new account and will re create the app there and hook it back up. Is there a reason why I shouldn’t do this? There isn’t any impact to my application if I use a new account, or is there a hold on new accounts?
