Hi there.
We are a state-government entity looking to implement Square POS, but we have found that we are ineligible for the payment processing component. Meaning, we can’t take payments with the platform at all.
However, we are still able to use the POS software. Is there any chance of integrating a third-party payment processor to our Square Online Store? Understanding that this probably goes against the Square ethos, but any suggestions on this would be helpful, or someone to shut me down and say that Square just won’t work for us.

Unfortunately, Square does not currently support integrating third-party payment processors with its platform. The Square system is designed to be an all-in-one solution, meaning it provides both the POS software and the payment processing. If you’re unable to use Square’s payment processing, you won’t be able to process payments through the Square Online Store or any other Square services.
