Point of Sale in person transactions

Hello everyone,

I am interested in integrating our web application with the Square hardware through Point of Sale API to process in person transactions(self-checkout), however the only options I can see are IOS and Android. Is there a way to integrate through web only(by just using Point of Sale API, without mobile app). If not, can this be done using other type of Square API?

:wave: Currently, there isn’t a way to integrate with Point of Sale API using web only. It’s currently only supported for mobile. You can use Terminal API to build a web application that will process payments on our Terminal device. :slightly_smiling_face:

Just noticed the Terminal API, thank you. What about when working with readers is that also mobile only?

All of our tools to connect to our readers is for mobile. Only Terminal API is available for a web app. :slightly_smiling_face:
