Square Appointments Change?

I have a Bookings API integration that has been working well in production for about a year. A few weeks ago, it stopped sending email notifications for new bookings. No triggering changes on my end, and the bookings still process correctly otherwise.

I logged in today to do some troubleshooting and noticed the new booking pricing tiers that become effective in April and the fact that email notifications was removed from the free tier that I am currently using. Are the email notifications already turned off for the free tier even though it isn’t April yet? Seems like an odd coincidence otherwise (although I’m no stranger to odd coincidences when it comes to my coding).
