Hi! I tried reaching out to support however no one could help. Maybe you guys can.
UPDATE: Forgot to include; I logged into the accout, closed the browser, shut off wifi, closed the laptop, let it sit for about 20 min, opened a new browser, went to the site, and I am still logged in. Why?
For our main account at Square, when I log out, I am presented with two options. Log out of this device or to log out of all 3 sessions. I worry because there shouldn’t be 3 sessions so I return to my account looking for the devices logged in. I see the two expected devices, the ones that are the POS systems. I do not see the PC I’m loggin in from.
I click log out of this device only. Log back in, and go to log out. Again, I am presented with the two options, this time the number of session open went up to 4. Why?
So I do it again. I log back in, go to log out, click log out of this device only, now it says 5 session.
I explain this to customer support but they don’t understand what the problem is.
I log out of all sessions, log back in, go to log out, now it says 2 sessions are open.
I cleared my caches, still the same problem. Session number keeps going up. I only have 2 POS devices. If I logged in from my PC, I understand it should be three, but why isn’t the PC listed under the devices in the device management section? Because device mamangement doesn’t address the devices where the account is logged into. It only address devices using the POS system.
Does anyone know what’s going on? I do understand it’s supposed to have a session EXPIRE after 3o min of inactivity, however, this is not my issue. My issue is that after I log out completely, whether it’s the “this device only” option or the “all sessions” option, the session number keeps rising.
Thanks
