Seller confirmation email is not recieved for bookings made with api

I am creating a booking with the booking-api and the seller do not get the confirmation email, but the customer gets all the emails. Is there something i can set on booking to control this? or what could be the cause?

The seller get the confirmation email if the booking is created with the iframe widget provided by square.
