Square doesn’t directly support microphone input through its APIs or hardware. However, you can develop an application that uses voice control features provided by the device’s operating system or a third-party library. This application can then interact with Square’s APIs to perform actions like processing payments or managing inventory. Please note that the voice control functionality would be separate from the Square integration in your application.

So there would be no way to do it with the stand alone square POS hardware?
At this time we do support assistive touch but developing a custom integration that controls the POS isn’t currently available.
