Payment failing with status GENERIC_DECLINE


I’m looking to get support on a payment that failed with the status GENERIC_DECLINE. As far as I know the credit card and issuing bank don’t have any issues so I was hoping Square might have more detail.

:wave: When a we return a GENERIC_DECLINE Square received a decline without any additional information. If the payment information seems correct, the buyer should contact their issuer to ask for more information. :slightly_smiling_face:
