Integrating Instagram with Meta Business for Square Online

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to integrate my Instagram account with Meta Business so I can sync my Square Online page and lash photo feed available for Instagram. I’ve already set up my Square Online site and have a business profile on Instagram and Facebook. However, I’m running into issues with the integration process.

I’m using Professional plan which is Instagram integration is available, I am doing lash business, so I need integration Instagram to show up the feed on my Square web page

The main issue I’m facing is Instagram account not appearing as an option even I carefully click it when setting up, and I also removed and re-connected multiple times. After click “view meta business suite” it shows my Instagram is already linked (check attach photos

Has anyone experienced this or have suggestions on how to resolve it? Any tips or best practices would be appreciated!

This looks related to the Square Online / Meta for Business integration rather than a public Square API or SDK issue.

A few things to check first:

  • Confirm the Instagram account is a Professional/Business account, not a personal account.
  • Confirm the Facebook/Meta user connecting the integration has admin access to the Facebook Page, Instagram account, and Meta Business account.
  • In Square Dashboard, go to Channels > Meta for Business and try Re-authenticate or disconnect/reconnect the integration.
  • In Meta Business Suite, confirm the Instagram account is assigned to the same business and Page being used for the Square integration.
  • If you recently connected/disconnected the integration several times, it may also be worth waiting 24–48 hours in case Meta rate limits or permission propagation are involved.
