How should I instruct a seller to get me their personal access token?

I am integrating Square API with one seller’s Square’s account. OAuth doesn’t seem to make sense, because the token will have to be regularly refreshed. Should I ask the seller to create an account at Square Developer, create an app, and give me their personal access token?

Does the seller have to sign up with their account’s email? How does the Developer Dashboard link to the Seller Dashboard? Thanks!

If the seller is already a Square seller you can ask them to add you as a team member with administrator permissions. You’ll then be able to get to the Developer Dashboard of the sellers Square account and securely get their access token. :slightly_smiling_face:
