Title: Allow service provider (non-owner) countersignature on contracts
Description:
We run a studio that offers permanent makeup with multiple staff service providers. I need contracts where the client signs first, and then the specific artist performing the service must review what client has filled in the form/contract and acknowledge by countersigning.
Current limitation:
-
Only the contract sender can sign, and the signature is labeled “Owner signature”
-
The owner must sign before sending — there’s no option for a countersign after the client completes theirs
-
There’s no way to assign the signature field to a specific team member or change the label from “Owner” to a custom title (e.g., “Service Provider” or “Licensed Technician”)
Requested functionality:
-
Allow contracts to be routed to a designated team member for signature after the client signs
-
Replace the fixed “Owner signature” label with a customizable field (e.g., “Service Provider,” “Technician,” “Artist”)
-
Support multi-party signing workflows where signer roles and order can be configured
Business impact:
In services like permanent makeup, the person performing the procedure needs to be clearly identified on the consent form and review the form after client fills in the details — both for liability and for compliance with state health regulations. The current setup doesn’t accurately represent the signer’s role when the artist isn’t the business owner.
