The Square Mobile Payments SDK has launched as the successor to the Reader SDK, enabling developers to accept in-person payments using an embedded Square payment flow in iOS and Android applications. Features include:
- Support for in-person payments with Square Reader or Square Stand.
- The ability to take payments offline (Alpha).
- Integration with the Square Payments API and Orders API.
- Sandbox support for testing with virtual readers.
- Programmatic reader management.
The Mobile Payments SDK is now available in Beta for iOS and Android.
