Ticket Printing for Scheduled Pickups

@joel.h, was the order_id you provided as an example uaHBs2ol8CcS5UygBvh3n8rXpldZY?

@thomasschweingruber, Tickets aren’t guaranteed to print if the app is backgrounded. This is expected and if you would like every ticket to print we recommend not backgrounding the app. As for the delay was the app backgrounded? Does the device have cell service like the phone or just wifi?

@Bryan-Square - Yes.

For that order the logs show the order was manually printed a minute after its creation. It is then automatically printed the next day, 45 minutes before pickup time
So far, behaves as expected

Hi @Bryan-Square the iPad app was in kisok mode (press the home button 3x) and connected to WiFi. Not backgrounded :wink:

I don’t believe that is supported. Orders will push only if the Square app is open.

They did reprint after the initial print to set aside to report the issue, but it printed before that automatically.

We are seeing that orders are printed instantly too in this case… please can you check and help what the issue is here

Have you had the customer reach out to our Customer Success team with some order_id examples? The printer settings are all configured in the Square app and the Customer Success team will be able to assist. :slightly_smiling_face:
