Requesting access to the Discount Codes API – Stemma Brewing (single-merchant app)

Hi Square team,

I’m the co-owner of Stemma Brewing Company in Bellingham, WA (two taproom locations on Square for Restaurants, Premium plan). I’d like to request access to the Discount Codes API for a first-party, single-merchant app that runs our annual beer club.

Use case:

  • Members are issued marketing coupons to redeem for 100% discount on certain square items.
  • Our app listens for the order webhook, adds the customer to a Beer Club customer group (for an automatic % off), and needs to issue marketing coupons for 100% discount on certain square items.
  • Benefits are redeemed in person only, at our Square for Restaurants POS.

We currently do this through a third-party app that issues Square Marketing coupons to the customer profile, and we’d like to bring it in-house.
