Besides, is reader sdk with the capacity to open the cash drawer?

The Square Cash Drawer Shifts API is designed to report on cash drawer activity by seller and location, but it does not have the capability to physically open a cash drawer. Similarly, the Reader SDK allows you to take in-person payments from mobile applications using Square hardware, but it does not have the functionality to open a cash drawer. Currently, Square does not provide an API that can physically open a cash drawer.
