Is there an API for Estimates?

I see lots related to Invoices but are there any APIs for Estimates ?

 At this time estimates aren’t currently available with our APIs. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team. :slightly_smiling_face:

I know this is an old thread, but it is the only one requesting API access to Estimates. I’m surprised there hasn’t been for activity here in the past 2+ years. I would very much like to be able to access estimates via API. I hope this makes it’s way into the development queue soon.

Hello,

I came across this thread about the API for Estimates, and I see that it hasn’t been updated since February 2021. Our business relies heavily on creating estimates, and having this functionality available via API is crucial for us.

As of June 21, 2024, I still cannot find any information or documentation regarding the ability to create estimates through the API. Has there been any progress or updates on this functionality in the past few years? Any guidance or information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

At this time there isn’t any additional updates on this feature. We hope to have more for you in the future. :slightly_smiling_face:

Still waiting on an API for estimates :smiling_face_with_tear:

still no update there. Did you add your devsprint this issue ? Or just send a e mail to team

It’s been 4 years and no traction on such a pivotal feature?

Can we please have an update on when or if this feature will ever appear? It’s really surprising for a lot of devs to not have the ability to programmatically build and send an estimate, when the Dashboard version has existed as long as it has.

An API driven ability to send estimates (especially with multiple packages) is exactly what my business needs, and there’s basically no competition in this space.

It’s disheartening to come across this discussion. It’s nearly 2026 and it appears that Square has no intention on moving forward with implementing this API, even worse we are clearly getting an auto response that itself hasn’t been updated in the 5+ years people have requested this. I was just assuming that the “estimates” were just invoices flagged as “draft”, but that isn’t the case and I won’t be able to use Square estimates through my app at all.

I can assure you we definitely aren’t an auto response and unfortunately it’s a bit more complicated then just a feature flag being enabled.
