We have a client where their items info is showing up without any
image_url but rather
ecom_image_uris. The documentation says nothing about
ecom_image_uris, is there an explanation for why there are not the normal image ids/urls?

Currently Square Online image data is returned in the API response with the Catalog API. Unfortunately they aren’t documented cause they are only for Square online store use. We understand that this is confusing given that they are undocumented. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team.
How is it then, that they had correct images previously? How would the client go about correcting this, since they need the images to show up in their app.
How do they get the regular image id’s back?
Hmm, looking at the image versions it is odd that the
image_id is missing. I’m checking with the team.
Any update on this? Our client would like to release their app, but we need to get the images back first.
