Does every catalog item have to have at least one item variation?

I’m building something for a client that uses the Catalog API and I wanted to know if I can depend on every catalog item having an item variation, even if it’s just one. I’ve looked through the docs and I haven’t been able to find where it says that item variations are required or optional.

Yes, every catalog item will have a variation for a sellers catalog. :slightly_smiling_face:
