Deleting Terminals so as to "start over" with pairing?

I am implementing what I hope will be a gui based pairing procedure in my POS program. It seems that if I log into the seller’s account, under devices there is a list of my pairing(s) some expired some not. I was just about to deactivate the ones that looked to be in play when I thought maybe I should ask first. What I want is for my one and only Terminal to forget it is paired so I can perfect the pairing flow for users of my program. Sorry If this is elementary but I can’t find the docs on this concept.

 Is the device that you are paired to using the Terminal API? While you can delete it from the Dashboard you will need to create the device code with the API.

In the dashboard i see i can deactivate it. Is that the way we are to delete it?

You can delete the device if you click the three dots in the top right of the device.
