Square’s documentation provides several test card numbers for use in the Sandbox environment, but they all appear to be credit cards.
Are there any Sandbox test card numbers that are recognized as debit cards?
We need to test some functionality specifically related to debit card transactions.

We do not unfortunately. Could you share a bit more about the flows you are trying to test?
We provide SaaS software for merchants. One of our merchants would like to charge a processing fee to customers who pay with a credit card, while waiving the fee for customers who pay with a debit card.
It looks like we’ll need to use real cards and test this in the production environment instead.
That is correct. Best practice is to use small test amounts ($1) and refund immediately after your testing is complete.
