Create transactions in virtual terminal (not sandbox)

Is it possible to use the virtual terminal to record a cash payment for a live account? I am trying to use a live account to do some testing in production. However, the problem is that it seems that I cannot record even cash payments in the live account unless I verify my account or something.

Is there any way to just record cash payments in the live virtual terminal?

I checked with our team and unfortunately the Virtual Terminal does require that your account has been activated for card processing (passing IDV) even for cash payments.
