Hi Square team,
We are developing a SaaS application that we plan to integrate with Square through the Square App Marketplace.
Our requirement is for a Square business admin to manage employee training directly from the Square Dashboard without having to leave Square.
For example, after installing the Marketplace app, the admin would be able to:
- Create employee training plans
- Select Square team members and assign training plans
- View employee training progress
- View completed training sessions
Ideally, the application’s training interface would be accessible within the Square Dashboard.
Is this type of embedded application experience technically supported for third-party Square Marketplace apps?
If yes, could you please point us to the relevant Square framework, API, or documentation for implementing this?
If it is not supported, is there another Square-supported approach for providing this type of experience?
