Beta Releases for Terminal API and Checkout API

Hi everyone! We’re excited to announce two new beta releases for the Terminal API and Checkout API:

  • Terminal API: Dismiss Checkouts and Refunds : You can now return to the Square Terminal idle screen without waiting for a checkout or refund request to timeout when you dismiss these workflows using the new DismissTerminalCheckout and DismissTerminalRefund endpoints.

  • Checkout API: Settings: Now, you can seamlessly extend settings from Square Online Checkout to your application, empowering you to configure payment types, tips, branding, and more.

I’ve been using CancelTerminalCheckoutAsync for years now to return to the idle screen.
