Assign an API order to a delivery partner once it arrives at POS: possible or not?

is there a way a merchant can assign an order created by API to a delivery partner once it arrives at the Square POS?

I understand it’s not possible to assign a delivery partner via API, but would this flow be possible:

  1. Order created by API
  2. Order arrives to POS
  3. The person at the POS sees the order details, and delivery address,… and then manually assigns a delivery partner to that order?

At this time assigning an order on the POS to a specific delivery partner isn’t currently available. :slightly_smiling_face:
