Hello,
Yes, you need specific approval to enable live testing of payments and transactions in a live environment on Square. To get started, you’ll need to:

  1. Contact Square Support: Reach out to Square’s support team to request access to live testing.
  2. Provide Details: Be prepared to provide details about your application and the purpose of the live testing.
  3. Follow Guidelines: Follow any guidelines or requirements set by Square to ensure compliance and security. HP Instant Ink Login

For more detailed information, you can refer to the Square Developer documentation on testing in the Sandbox environment.

I started an account today and I never received my verification email or password reset email to access the Square Developer Sandbox. If i’m the developer of account and i want to use the code on another account, once i access api, would it be same, can export/transfer code to my 2nd account.

To access sandbox there’s no unique sign in nor is there a password to get to the sandbox Dashboard. To access sandbox you’ll sign in to your Square account then navigate to the Developer Dashboard to get to the sandbox test account.

Dear Square Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I’m in the process of integrating Square’s payment solutions into a financial application, and I have some specific banking requirements that I would like to clarify. Could you confirm whether the following features are possible through Square’s APIs ?

  1. Bank Account Onboarding: Is it possible to set up workflows that allow users to sign up for and choose between checking and savings accounts via Square?
  2. Bank Transfers: Can users transfer money between their bank accounts and ours, including deposits and withdrawals?
  3. Debit Card Issuance: Does Square support the issuance of virtual and/or physical debit cards for user accounts?
  4. Transaction History: Can we retrieve and display users’ transaction history, including deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, via Square’s API?
  5. Downloadable Transaction History: Is there functionality that allows users to download their transaction history in CSV or PDF formats?
  6. Mobile Wallet Integration: Does Square support the integration of bank accounts with mobile wallets, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, for seamless access and payments?

I would greatly appreciate your help in understanding whether Square can meet these requirements, or if another solution would be more appropriate for this use case.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,
Binaira Faisal

With a Square account it’s an account that accepts payments. Those payments can be deposited into the sellers bank account which can be either a savings or a checking account. If the seller has signed up for Square banking then there are options for them to send the funds to the Square checking or savings accounts.

For bank transfers Square only transfers to the linked bank accounts. Peer to peer transfers via ACH isn’t currently possible with Square.

If you are using Square Banking there are options to get a physical card.

All transaction history is stored within your Square account and there are CSV reports that are downloadable from the Dashboard.

Yes, Square does support taking Apple Pay and Google Pay payments.
