Hi Square community! I’m using Checkout API to create the payment link, but my client wants to issue the payment page in Japanese. I skimmed Checkout API document, but there were no topics for language setting. Are there any ways to change the payment page based on the selected language?

Is the sellers Square account a Japanese Square account? If so the page will render in Japanese. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for the reply. Oh really? Yes. Japanese Square account. When I request location API, country and language code are Japan/Japanese. However, somehow preview of check out page shows in English. (I checked with Japanese browser setting, but the language was English. )

FYI I was able to create Japanese payment page from the dashboard manually. However, I issued Checkout page via Checkout API and that didn’t work.

Okay. Now. I got the japanese page! We needed to check production API for language settings. I guess we cannot see any changes on sandbox checkout page. This includes allow_tipping option also.
