Square Payment Link adhoc duplicate URL for same phone number?

When making an adhoc Square Payment Link via the API and then sending to my phone, am sometimes getting the same payment link. When the same link, it just comes up as paid w/no payment made. I am using a different idempotency key value for each unique sale. Is this due to duplicate transaction checking based on phone number and amount? Did not see anything indicating, but may have missed it.

What’s your application ID? Also if the idempotency_key is different you should be getting a unique link for each request. Have you also checked the API Logs to verify the links are the same? :slightly_smiling_face:

Turns out this was an idempotency issue, value passed in ended up being replaced by a placeholder in the API calling code. Once a proper value was allowed to pass through, all was good. Sorry for the confusion.
