A customer can place a future order with us. Buy 1 bottle now and 1 more in 1 month to be sent. When the second bottle is sent we would like to charge the Credit Card or whatever was the payment method chosen. When such an order is processed it is a backend process for us and the customer would not be present. It is not a subscription because it is not periodic as well as the order value may vary. What API and technique is expected to be applicable here?
With the Cards API you’ll be able to save the card on file for the customer and then charge it as needed without the customer being present with the Payments API.
