Hi, I’m new to square dev and just have a quick question that I couldn’t find an answer for in the forum search. Does the Catalog( or other) API have the ability to open search restaurant menus that use square? For instance, I want to search/list what restaurants have a particular keyword (such as “Brunch” or “Happy Hour”) as part of their catalog objects. I would then have a list of location object ID’s to work with and view their offerings and pricings. Is this something currently possible?

At this time since a Menu API isn’t currently available querying the catalog for “Brunch” or “Happy Hour” wouldn’t return any objects unless they categorized the catalog objects with those labels. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team.
