Only some items require buyer's shipping address?!

It’s driving me crazy that 4 of 6 items I sell ask for the buyer’s shipping address. The other 2 do not. I’d rather not ask for shipping info.

I already found this thread and tried every suggestion there: Why is shipping address required for digital order... - The Seller Community

  • Make the items non-taxable
  • Set region availability to Worldwide
  • Every setting that I can find manually is identical between all 6 items

Where is the customer being asked for an address and how was the checkout created? Was it with our APIs? :slightly_smiling_face:

They’re asked for the address while checking out and this all begins from a Payment Link (not your API).

If these are links that are created from the Dashboard instead of the API I’d recommend reaching out to our Customer Success team. This community is mainly for developers that are using our APIs and SDKs. :slightly_smiling_face:
