What is squares user flow for when a new merchant signs up?
I know my application cannot create merchant accounts, thats fine. But if a user of my application doesn’t yet have a square account and tries to connect the program. Will the Authorize endpoint of the API direct them to create an account first? and if so does it also have them create a business location?
Or do I need to have separate user flows on my side directing them to first create an account and then connect the program?

With Square if your customer doesn’t have an account they will be given the option to create an account. When they create an account a location will automatically be created for them.
