As per the link: Take a Payment

During the payment, Square takes control of the screen display to ensure that buyer information is handled securely and that the final confirmation of the payment is correctly shown to the buyer.

What if we want to show our own UI or do not want to show UI at all? Is any of the two possible?

This is required for PCI compliance. We have to control the screen when checking out. We’re constantly working to improve our features based on feedback like this, so I’ll be sure to share your request to the API product team. :slightly_smiling_face:
