I cannot mark a variation/SKU in my sandbox account as sold out and make the change stick. I hope this is not by design in the sandbox env as it prevents some test cases we have.
Steps to repro:
- Visit the item library page in the Sandbox (/dashboard/items/library)
- Click on any Variation to edit.
- Click on “Manage Stock” and then “Mark as sold out on Point of Sale and Online” toggle
- Click “Save”
The Variation and its parent Item on the page now have a small red circle with a little hyphen inside shown under ‘Stock’ column. However, if you simply reload this Web page, the red icons are gone and the Variation is no longer sold out. Note that this item is not stock-tracked, but that shouldn’t matter. I should just be able to mark on SKU ‘sold out.’
The same steps works in Prod. The change will stick and survive page refreshes.
Is this by design or a bug in sandbox?
